No Sign, But Something is Out There
CRYPTOZOOLOGIST Rex Gilroy believes the number of sightings of a big cat in Appin indicate something is out there.
Mr Gilroy, who searched Appin bushland for signs of a panther-like creature after Mark Flood and his friends spotted a big cat in the area two weeks ago, failed to find any sign of the animal.
"It's not surprising; investigations usually need to be conducted immediately after a sighting to produce results," he said.
"I believe there is a permanent population of marsupial cats in the region, which are often mistaken for panthers. Eventually we will have physical proof."
