British Big Cats

Back

Cheryl Hudson - Lancashire.

I am 45, have two teenagers (so obviously I am a qualified referee!), worked for Preston College but was laid off in the summer. Enjoy photography, walking (short distances), countryside, music, (I am a singer for my sins) and love driving around armed with camera just in case I see something of interest. That elusive close-up sighting can't be that far away!
Spoken to people in the past who have seen big cats in Lancashire (also brother in law who lives in Milton Keynes saw big cat crossing road in front of his car years ago - obviously it was struggling for directions due to all the blinkin' roundabouts!).
My other half and I were out at Dunsop Bridge - a regular trip of ours - about two years ago. We were sitting on the bank of the river and Chris saw something crouched down on a boulder at the side of the river approx. 20 - 25 yards away. We watched it for a few minutes. Of course the binoculars were in the car! It appeared to be a sandy colour. Chris got a better view than me and continued watching it whilst I crossed the river to walk toward it. As I approached it turned and crept off, very much in feline fashion.
Bye for now, Cheryl
