Big cat pictures by Roger Hale
Roger Hale now lives in Ireland although travels on a regular basis to the UK and further afield and has been photographing wildlife for several years.
"I’ve had an interest in wildlife since I was a young boy growing up in Berkshire in England. A few years ago I started taking photographs of wildlife and got well and truly hooked.
"It started with wolves, as I was the founder of the UK Wolf Conservation Trust from there my interest in taking photographs of wildlife expanded.
"My main focus is on close-ups of insects in the garden for example hoverflies, bee’s, butterflies and in the countryside, dragonflies, damselflies, foxes, deer and the exotic leopards and wolves etc.
"I have been taking photographs since I was a boy, starting with a brownie, I still use 35mm camera’s and medium format, but my most of my equipment I use in the field is digital.
"Although I spend most of my time capturing images of wildlife, I still spend a fair amount of it doing weddings and portrait photography, I enjoy all aspects and love trying out new things and new ways of capturing images.
"I have had some success in the past couple of years, and have had three photographic exhibitions in Ireland.
"I photograph internationally and have bases in Ireland the UK and Holland.
"I hope you enjoy your journey through my photographic world Roger Hale Photography
