Beastwatch UK - Chris Mullins.

I began this website as a matter of interest, and it's now grown, far beyond what I imagined it to be.
Since I began in 2001, I've either received or found reports from - a Chinchilla in a Postbox, to Piranha in the Thames .... And more .... it's amazing just what there is out there..!!!
Some of the reports within these pages may make you cringe, whilst others you’ll find hilarious, "I know I did," hopefully though there’s something for everyone. If you have any ideas which may help us improve on our site then please don't be shy, "speak up," or better still help..!! I’d like to thank all those people who have helped us so far, by contributing to the site with their own reports or stories of interest, without those, these pages would be a little on the thin side. If you find any reports yourself that may be of relevance to us, then please send them to us here or if you’d like to become more involved, we’re always looking for volunteers to work as active members in all areas when reports come in, so please feel free to delve into this further if you wish.

Mystery Research Group of Australia (M.A.R.C.A.)

Ably run by founder Sharon West, MARCA investigates the sightings on the Australian continent of large out-of-place big cats as well as the Tasmanian Tiger.
MARCA is the focus for a group of people who are interested in proving the existence of at least two species of big cats and Thylacines are roaming the mainland of Australia. The group consists of approximately 60 people from all states of Australia and a few interested individuals overseas.
A number of MARCA subscribers investigate reported sightings and suspected habitats of the mystery animals. All sightings are recorded in a database for future reference.
MARCA publishes a quarterly newsletter which is sent to to all subscribers. The newsletter documents sightings, related news from overseas and publishes submissions from subscribers and others.
If you have seen a mystery animal or evidence of their existence please let MARCA know by sending an email message. The age of the report does not matter. You will not be ridiculed by MARCA and information will not be published without your permission.

I have persoanlly met Sharon and her husband Philip when they paid myself and Hannah a brief visit in Scotland. Sharon is a genuine person and if you have a sighting to report from Ausralia then you can do no better.

The Center For Fortean Zoology - Jonathan Downes.

At the beginning of the 21st Century monsters still roam the remote, and sometimes not so remote, corners of our planet. It is our job to search for them.
The Centre for Fortean Zoology [CFZ] is the only professional, scientific and full-time organisation in the world dedicated to cryptozoology - the study of unknown animals. Since 1992 the CFZ has carried out an unparalleled programme of research and investigation all over the world.

Strange Nation Australia

Ruby Lang and Michael Williams are the people behind Strange Nation. They met over a tilting table during a psi experiment in Sydney in 2001. Since that time the pair have co-authored several articles together on psi, yowies and big cats, and are writing their first book together on mystery felids in Australia; Australian Big Cats: An Unnatural History. Together and separately they have written for a number of publications including the Fortean Times, Phenomena magazine, Witchcraft magazine (defunct), Animals & Men (CFZ), Hard Evidence, Cryptomundo and the Australasian UFOlogist.
