We were sent the following pictures by Lizzie, the body was found at the side of the A9 near the Auchterarder turn-off. The yellow measuring marker is a yard stick. The person who found the body which had been there for some time said the coat was spotted, and workers who had seen the cat on the ground previously, but not bothered with it were sure it was a cat, "but not a moggie".
Anyone any idea's what it might be, I think the teeth may help in identification, although its not big enough for an exotic, but big enough for a wildcat, if indeed it is a cat at all.
Sincere apologies to Lizzie for not being able to get down.
