Wild Mink on the Loose near Moyne (or big cat)
Residents have been alerted to a wild cat type of animal, namely a wild mink. But those who saw it said it was too big for a mink. Already he has killed a large number of hens and chickens at a farmhouse at Fyhora on the Carrigallen border. People have been warned to keep their windows closed at all times as these animals can be very dangerous if approached quickly. There have been two sightings of him in the last three weeks.
