Big Cat Experts Find Paw Prints.
Big cat experts have discovered footprints bigger than a woman's fist in a Mid Wales forest. The experts have been scouring the land, after several sightings of a big panther-like creature in Mid Wales, for clues to the animals' whereabouts.
And in Brechfa Forest they have now discovered footprints which may belong to the same animal.
A spokesman for Dyfed Powys police said: "A big cat expert has found prints bigger than her fist in Brechfa Forest which is not far from where the animal has been seen."
The animal was first seen in Llangadog on January 5 when it is believed to have savagely killed a pensioner's dog.
It has since been seen several times, including by police wearing night vision glasses at the weekend.
Police are awaiting the results of a post mortem carried out on the dead dog.
