A NEW sighting has been made of a big cat in The Horncastle area.
There have been several sightings of what is described as 'a big black
cat' or 'Wolds Panther' in the Lincolnshire area in recent years.
The latest sighting came in the past few days from Anna Wood who was
travelling in the direction of Sleaford from the Woodhall Spa/Martin
area when she noticed the cat creature.
She said: "It was not a domestic cat, it was completely black and
about the size of a small collie with a very long tail which almost
touched the ground.
"It has a characteristic blob at the end of its tail. It ran/loped
across the main road about 100 yards ahead of me going from left to right.
"There are woods on the left side of the road and it disappeared into
the field on the opposite side of the road into the harvested corn field.
"I would be interested to know if anyone else has seen a wild cat in
the same area."
Do you have any information on the above reports. Were you the person
involved, or are you aware of any more sightings in this area. We would appreciate any information that you could
give us.
Have your say on the forum.
