Big cat on the prowl at Ferrensby maze!

VISITORS to a popular Knaresborough tourist attraction are being advised to tread carefully after a tiger was spotted by local dairy farmer, Andrew Cumming.
Thankfully the creature has been tamed - it forms the 2008 design of Poplars Adventure Mega Maze which opened this week at Andrew's farm in Ferrensby.
The wild design has been cut into a ten-acre crop of maize and is the latest in a series of challenging designs which have included a spaceman, a whale, a dinosaur and a griffin.
Andrew and five-year-old son, Alex, were the first to stalk the tiger, donning Indiana Jones attire to add to the occasion.
"This year's Big Cat design should appeal to anyone with a spirit for adventure," said Andrew. "It's quite a challenging design - not easy by any means!"
After prowling through the maze, young explorers can discover the latest fun additions to the adjoining Play Paddock.
Poplars Adventure Mega Maze is open daily throughout the summer from 10am-5pm. Further details are available from www.poplarsmaze.co.uk[http://www.poplarsmaze.co.uk
