THERE has been another big cat sighting on Sheppey.
The latest was on Monday morning, off the A249 Brielle Way at Queenborough.
It was reported to Neil Arnold, of Kent Big Cat Research, who was filming with the BBC near Chequers Road in Minster at the time.
He said: "While we were setting up the cameras in the hope of filming the black leopard, I received a call from a chap called John to say he had spotted a completely different large cat, not far from where we were filming.
"He was driving towards Queenborough and looked left towards the field of horses and was startled to see a large, fawn-coloured cat heading across the field towards Brielle Way, There were horses in the field but the cat showed no interest and moved with purpose.
"John had three glimpses of the animal and was convinced it was a puma, also known as a mountain lion or cougar. The animal was a little bit smaller than a labrador - sleek, with a very long tail that had a dark tip. The animal then disappeared from view towards the road."
Do you have any information on the above reports. Were you the person
involved, or are you aware of any more sightings in this area. We would appreciate any information that you could
