Big cat sightings around the city are nothing new, but has the
so-called "Beast of Bretton" gone south?
Evening Telegraph reader Michelle Esposito has been in contact to say
her husband is the latest to catch a glimpse of the elusive creature .
. . this time near Yaxley in ther early hours of Monday (June 2)
"He was driving back home along the old A1 (London Road) between
Hampton and the Yaxley brick pits when a large animal the size of a
dog ran across the road in front of him.
"It was dark coloured and was the shape of a large cat - not quite as
big as a panther but about the size of a medium dog.
"He could tell it was more cat like by the way it was running. Is
there a large cat i.e. a puma in this area? Has anyone else seen anything?
Do you have any information on the above reports. Were you the person
involved, or are you aware of any more sightings in this area. We would appreciate any information that you could
