Porcupine Mystery is Solved
I Wrote into the Herald two weeks ago about a sighting of a porcupine
in Hints Lane, near Tamworth.
I reported the sighting to the police the following day who laughed
and asked if all six of us had been drinking - yes we had but not the
mini bus driver.
The sighting played on my mind for a few days and then I decided to
call Drayton Manor Zoo.
They confirmed that their porcupine had escaped and they had been
trying to catch it for a number of weeks....
I know a badger when I see one, and now it has been confirmed that
there is indeed a porcupine in Hints Lane.
