British Big Cats

Back

Christine Hall: London.

I first became interested in big cats when Mark asked me to find out what had become of Lara the Lynx who was found in North London and taken to Regents park zoo a couple of years ago. I was then contacted by someone who had a sighting in the Muswell Hill area and went along to interview the reportee and look at and photograph the area, and the rest is history as they say! I believe there are cats roaming the country and think that there should be a nationally co-ordinated register to log all the sitings and to develop a strategy for the future of these cats.
My other area of interest is stone circles and Pictish symbol stones which I love to visit and am always pleased to hear of any I may not yet have discovered.
